URBAN AGRICULTURE PILOT PROJECT
Our urban farm project was such a success last year that we've increased our production.
BACKGROUND
For the past six years, children at St. Andrew’s United Church have enjoyed learning how to care for the earth by planting their own garden.
Last year, 2018, thanks to a Canada Summer Jobs grant to hire a post-secondary student, we piloted an urban agriculture project.
This year, thanks to another Canada works grant, we've been able to put over 3,000 sq ft under cultivation

HARVESTING AND PURCHASING
Check the home page of the website, or the St. Andrew's Facebook page for updates on what's available for harvest and purchase each week. Then come to the church to pick your vegetables on Thursdays, from 4 to 8 pm or Sundays at 11 am. Bags will be provided.
