URBAN AGRICULTURE PILOT PROJECT

Our urban farm project was such a success last year that we've increased our production.

BACKGROUND

For the past six years, children at St. Andrew’s United Church have enjoyed learning how to care for the earth by planting their own garden.

Last year, 2018, thanks to a Canada Summer Jobs grant to hire a post-secondary student, we piloted an urban agriculture project.

This year, thanks to another Canada works grant, we've been able to put over 3,000 sq ft under cultivation
